regal fabrics will make Autumn/Winter 05/06 a gorgeous fashion
spectacle. It's a rich gemstone coloured story for Fall-Winter 2005/6.
Here is my take on mood boards for fall fashion trends 2005 to help you envisage
the richness of colour you'll see on rails in shops.

Autumn leaves are the colours
to bring to mind. Start with champagne tones move through apricots and
burnt gingers to metallic coppers and bronze effects. Set these
against the richest of greens through to the subtlest of khakis. To
this add generous helpings of teal peacock blue and plenty of natural
oatmeal through earthy shades and browns. This metallic look burnt
oranges and caramel colour scheme was highly favoured by
designers when
they used fur as their inspiration.
Finally there is the combo of black, white and silver and often gold if
you tire easily of colour. This scheme is used extensively in both the
60s Beatnik New Mod Look and also in
Victoriana which leads toward Goth.
