This season Evans continues with Boho
styling to create an eclectic collection of deconstructed raw edge
finishes, colour and texture recalling a 1970 ’s style. Wide
leg trousers, maxi skirts and peacoats are key and detailing
includes rouleau loops and covered buttons.
The Autumn/Winter accessories are the heroes of the collection –
adding the finishing touches to all the themes.

Large tapestry and
oversized leather slouch bags are a must-have for the season. Hues
of plums, chocolate, ochre green and burnt orange echo the eclectic
period. Footwear follows through the key themes with folk and
crochet wedges, gaucho boots and riding boots in distressed leather.

Cropped velvet blazers are worn over baby doll tops
and folk embroidered skirts to create a mixed up vintage feel.
Velvet is the key message along with daywear tweeds, check and cord,
layered with embellishment and print for a versatile wardrobe. Yoke
style tops and ethnic printed tunics sit alongside bat wing tops and
shrugs with art nouveaux and pleat detailing.

Settlers keep warm in patterned knits, layered with
cropped gilets and dirty denim. Punctuations of suede and
leather feature heavily, with tassels and moleskin adding intricate
detailing.

The 70s theme blends into a more military feel with
utility wear in cord and canvas. Military jackets with distinctive
bronze buttons sit with collarless shirts in hues of khaki green,
dusky pink and plum.

Glamorous t-bar and beaded pumps provide an elegant
alternative to casual styles. Key 70s inspired tones include teal,
grape, purple, muted mustard, burnt orange and greens.
Wide, beaded and embellished belts and soft suede
sashes are worn low on the hips over denim or maxi skirts to create
a flattering silhouette.
