How To Make A Cravat?

Hi all,
I am making the bridesmaids dresses for my brothers wedding, and we want to make cravats for the boys from the matching fabric. Does anyone know of free instruction or a pattern on how to make them? Or has anyone tried this? I don't really want to waste money on a pattern for something that I'm pretty sure is just a set of rectangles!
