While watching Strictly come dancing Ive thought to myself if dance will ever influence fashion.
I have it in my head that in the next couple of years we will see loads of net layered skirts and sequins galore or maybe the odd spanish ruffled blouse.
What do you think?

Well dance has influenced fashion on many occasions in other eras and yes it does move into mainstream fashion. OTOH lets hope some of those hardly there ever so scanty costumes seen in some of the exotic dances stay firmly on the beach or in vaudeville!

But a bit of tutu net is very pretty under a swirly skirt.

Ive seen tu-tus on fashion programmes, very floaty netty skirts, not necessarily the sticky out swan lake tu-tus but they are called tu-tus no less.
